This is a division of the Grand Champion of Santa Barbara International Orchid Show – 2007 (as a 1st bloom seedling). Novelty size flowers with a solid velvety red lip on pendulous spikes. Very good form, substance and very floriferous with multiple spikes per bulb and good flower count. Blooming size division in a gallon pot. This is not a mericlone, but a division of the original mother plant. Rarely sold, and superior to the clones in both form and color.
